    • 1994 sounds about right for the diecast, wiki says 6 of the 1:1s are thought to have been made and if you do a google image search there’s a pic that seems to support this(at minimum 6 anyway as you can count 6 front tires in the pic) ….cool looking rig *NM*

  • You might get close to it using Tamiya sprays Dark Blue with a coat of their Pearl clear over it. *NM*
  • Dupli Color Perfect Match Navy Blue might be a close match. I haven't tried it to confirm the color but will if you'd like me to. *NM*

• Revell's '41 Willys that I want to build as a '50's (kinda shade tree mechanic type) street rod, with bumpers,fog lights and maybe spotlights. Gotta find a chassis with bumper brackets. Any suggestions would be grateful. *NM*
  • AMT's 1939/40 Ford Tudor, Coupe or Sedan Delivery kits, AMT 1937 Chev Coupe/Convert, Revell/Mono 1939 Chev Coupe/Delivery all offer bumpers & bumper mounts....the 39/40 Fords would be better suited IMO. *NM*
    • Exacyly what I was thinkin', Andy. I have a '40 Ford coupe and a '36 Ford coupe, plus all the others, except the '40 Ford Tudor, which I hope to find at a swap meet. Thanks again, mate. *NM*
      • Boomer, I'd start with the AMT '36 ford. It has a longer wheelbase than the Willys, so you are going to hafta shorten it a bit. The AMT '40 has the same wheel base, but I think the '36 willl be easier to use. *NM*

      • I thought about adding the 36 Ford but the others I mentioned have straight bumpers whereas the 36 has a bumper that dips in the centre, the stock Willys had a straight bumper I think. *NM*
        • I tried a '36 Ford chassis. Never mind. L.O.L. my '40 Ford is all glued and primered. That's 0 for 2. I have 17 primered and waiting for a little warmer weather, and I can start finishing(which is NOT my favorite thing to do!!). LOVE to build, HATE to finish Weird, huh? *NM*
