I guess I'm just old. Or old-school. I'd rather see a real 409 between those fenders. It just seems a lot cooler to me... *NM*

Reall? Think about it, Bill. Those plastic covers are just as boring and ugly as the Coils. I mean what could be more appropriate than paying homage to the original 60's muscle car engine? *NM*

Saturday was a busy one.. I started off at a nice little toy (more on that later)... After that I was off to Geneseo (IL) for the annual Trains, Plane & Automobiles show.... *PICS* *LINK*
Marty....Huppmobile, Pierce Arrow, Packard, Auburn .....what a boring life you lead...lol....3 shows in a weekend...........thanks for the great pics. *NM*
LOL... I had been planning to hit two more shows on Sunday, but decided to spend the day on the sofa with my wife instead.... Otherwise there would an even bigger batch of pics to share. *NM*
What's the story on the Z061? That's a wild ride! Is that EFI on a 409? *NM*
Re: Looks to me like the 348/409 valve covers are simply covering a modern Chevy LS motor *NM*
Pretty crazy if you ask me. Anyone who knows anything will know that's not a "409", so why bother? *NM*
Because it looks much more appealing than those ugly coil packs on modern engines. *NM*
So, nobody makes modern coil covers for the modern engines? That would be more appropriate. *NM*

As someone who swoons over nailhead Buicks, Y-block Fords, early Hemis and yes, 409s, I totally get that, but I also understand the appeal of LS engines for painless drivability. *NM*
What Cliff said... A late model LS, dressed up with 409 valve covers. The whole car is absolutely incredible. *NM*
Incredible is absolutely right... Right smack in my wheel house. *NM*
Thanks again Marty! *NM*
Great show! Really liked the various Packards - classics! Thanks for sharing your pics! *NM*
