.........As a child with a very limited budget and limited skills I would always choose a "Molded in Color" kits over the non colored / white ones every time (THANKS MPC !!!!). In the early days I was very much a "box art" builder. As my skills improved I would still choose the molded in color kits but I learned how to polish the bodies. Moving on....many of my first body paint jobs consisted of a rattle can clear coat and polish. Eventually I did start painting the bodies. Bottom line as stated.....if not for colored plastic all my builds as a child would have been white....or brush painted !!! LOL !!!
