I don’t mind if it’s colored plastic as long as you can polish it out nicely. *NM*

Yeh, 69yr old anal Andy would prefer plain white but his 12 or 13 year old self would jump for joy if all those mentioned & others were reissued as original in original coloured or metallic plastic, they just make me smile & bring back thoughts of simpler times. *NM*

All the muscle cars they produced in the '80s were done in various colors. Some of the metallic ones were just beautiful. All the vintage cars from the '60s were molded in color as well. *NM*

I'm told Monogram chrome plated the cavities that produced the bodies to get the gloss - Hey, Dave Darby can you drop in?
The old Auto World catalog listings: "you don't have to paint it if you don't feel like"...
The TD kits were a big deal at the time - only had one but it was fun to build
Dennis Doty did a no-paint Tarantula, but IIRC he used a lot of liquid glue to smooth up all of the seams...the glue probably changed the plastic color over time *NM*
That was it. I was star struck to meet him at a Dearborn Youth Center show a few years later - super nice guy and what a great asset to the hobby for these many years
Most of their classic cars of the 1930s were done in coloured plastic...
All or nearly all early Monogram car kits were molded in color. The Futurista's body was molded in yellow while the 1:1 car was pearl white *NM*
