- I have (443) 448-4175. Number as shown in No. 85, Summer 2022, which is the last issue I received. I think Steve Coonan's editorial, stating that they were "back" and that they had "a serious commitment to get everybody what they paid for" was nothing but lies. *NM*

- Gluing vinyl hoses on an AMT 283 engine kit....my "normal" CA glue don't want to play...anyone had success with Zap A Gap Pink Super Thin?..any other suggestions?.....lol. *NM*

- Hey guys: Bought some rattle can paint last week , Testors "Extreme Lacquer". Ever heard of it? *NM*

- Yes. Have several Cans and use it. This model was done with their Electric Pink version. Spraying a custom 48 Ford with their Gold version. Flake is a little heavier than metallics, but good for customs. *NM* *PIC*

- The Extreme Lacquer is the rebranded former OneCoat paint line that been around for awhile. Easy to use if you follow their directions (I know, we model car builders are not known for following directions haha) *NM*

- While Rustoleum has some truly terrible paint formulaions out there, not intended for use on styrene models, they have not ruined the Testors line (yet). Well, except they dropped dozens of colors, dropped Model Master, and dropped Metalizers. FAIK the hoppy paints

- I had a HUGE H.O. layout in the basement of the old house we use to live in. My two Model railroad "heroes" were Malcolm Furlow and the late great John Allen of the "Gorre and Dephetid" H.O./H.O.n3. Mine was H.O., time period, 1923/1943, all steam, 95% scratchbuilt struct

- Does anyone know the story behind the twin Judson blower setup on the AMT '64 Olds? I've looked online and it doesn't look like Judson ever made them that big or for V8 engines, usually only smaller four cylinders like those in British sports cars.

- I'd like to buy a couple of Revell 1971 Olds 442 kits, but from what I understand, the roof pillar is bent because of the way the body is packaged. Has Revell fixed this? Is there a way that I can know if the kits that I buy have undamaged roof pillars? Thanks. *NM*

- The side window profile at the upper drip molding doesn’t look right to me. I think the Johan was better. *NM*
- I've seen the 1971 at shows and in pics. The front wheel opening looks too flat over top of the front wheel too. Just like the 1972 kit. Revell always gets something wrong when it comes to body proportions. Too bad because I love their kits. *NM*

- Seems obvious to me, buy it from Spotlight, You know they'll do you right. And ask them to inspect it before shipping, if you have concerns. *NM*

- Most of those kits are actually well-executed considering they were sold so cheaply. And they did a bunch of cars nobody will touch in 1/25 scale (prewar four-door Plymouths, and unusual exotic cars) *NM*

- I use AK Interactive Extreme Metal Paints for airbrushing--excellent stuff--shoots like a dream--use their thinner. For brushing, Green Stuff World is pretty hard to beat. *NM*

- IMO, JoHan nailed the Olds 425 in the Toro kit and same lived on through many other kits and releases

- There is a nice weathering detail for model builders, the end of the front bumper on the driver's side has been snapped off at the mounting rivet/bolt hole. Looks like the end was clipped from the front or the back and the mounting frame was so sturdy it did not move! *NM*
