- I purchased this rubber car, manufactured in Canada 1955. Thinking of repainting. Not sure if I should try to remove the existing paint or not. Mine does not have wheels/tires. This photo from ebay.

- What am I doing wrong. After painting and polishing a car, then applying bare metal trim, then I try to clean or wax the body the bare metal leaves black streaks in the paint. I can get most of it off but in some cases seems to permanently stain the paint. Frustrated! *NM*

- Lots of kits cost more than $ 54.00. Tamiya, NuNu, Belkits, Beemax, some Hasegawa, etc.

- Here in Oz, new Tamigawa kits are around $100, which is $65US, Revell/AMT 1/25 car kits are $65-95 Oz. *NM*
- 30-40 yrs ago you were lucky if a kit had decals....now "we" expect & get decals, metal transfers, photo etch, masks, vinyl parts & more so I suppose price increases should be expected....expected but not necessarily liked......lol. *NM*

- Tamiya kits are high priced but they fall together. Salvino's not so much. If I spend that much I don't want to fight it all the way. *NM*
- I now use triple A for all battery issues. Takes them about 40 minutes to show up, 15 minutes to check and install, and you're on your way. Simple. *NM*
