• On another site, they're saying Revell is coming out with RMX-4552 1/25 1976 Chevy Street Pickup Truck. Anyone know which variant this might be? *NM*
  • It's the old Revell Stepside, possibly best known from the Hot Rod Series reissue with the black monochomatic truck on the box. Appears it's been reissued at least a couple times since then. *NM*

          • That kit was originally tooled up as Jimmy Carter's brother's service station truck so that tells you about how long it's been in production. LOL *PIC*

    • Ya know, , IF Revell stuck a set of stock bumpers and front suspension in there and filled that hole in the roof it wouldn't be a 1/2 bad kit. , , Oh and a set of stock rear fenders, the ones in the kit are aftermarket. *NM*

          • They used those back fenders on their custom Chevy Luv , Ford Courier and Datsun pickup kits too but with a smaller box. *NM*

              • Yes. I had that set back in the day. That section of plastic that was supposed to be used for custom grille was just bad. looked lore like a section of metal catwalk. LOL *NM*
  • Revell was in something of a swoon at the time - how good is the kit?
    • I was put off by the kit's dropped tube front zxle and the quick change rear end. sur, if I wanted stock parts, there was the MPC kit, but the MPC kit was rarer than hen's teeth in my little nook & cranny of the world.
