The guy knows his way around a 289. But one glaring omission...

Actually two. This being a 65 289, it should have an oil filler cap on the front top of the left-hand valve cover, and a PCV valve & hose on the rear top of the right-hand valve cover, with the PVC hose connecting to a diecast spacer under the carb. Older pre 65 221-289s had an oil filler tube running into the right hand side of the timing cover, and a road draft tube connected either to the center rear of the intake manifold, or into the right-hand valve cover on the later ones. Very refreshing to see a carburetor not painted gold. More aren't than are. That said, he's got some amazing scratch building skills, especially as small as many of those pieces are!
