$55 for a kit tooled in 1984 is a bit high to me. (talking vintage Monogram tooling... MCSS)
As far as Tamiya goes......they just reissued the Lancia kit, from about the same era, and I got mine for $28
I have a stash that IF I build one a day I can't build them all. And I have 5 or 6 vintage Monogram DE Sr kits.....so my post was FYI for those considering.
