• ICM does their tires in plastic, Gotta remove them from the trees, then assemlbe them to the wheels, which have a center to hold them to the wheel. *NM*

      • A couple more issues: the bottom of the windshield begins too far above the cowl. Also the front fender opening on the '48 is not a full radius...it should have a short flatish spot at the top *NM*

  • It is bone stock. There's several options for the front, that's just one of them. *NM*
  • the body is stock, rear fenders are not hogged out, I shaved the wipers, door handles, side marker lites and used the blocked out grill like the box are, the stang grill is included *NM*

  • Same one. Also used in the Kenz & Leslie '69 Cougar and the first Funny Hugger '69 Camaro *NM*

• Anyone planning to try out the new 68 Coronet hardtop on an AMT 70 Super Bee or 69 GTX prostreet chassis? *NM*
  • Got a few minutes of grokking in - the 90's tool chassis generally slides right into the body
  • IMO the Coronet underbody is better, just needs more front suspension detail. Your mileage may vary, however *NM*
    • This reissued MPC Coronet Convert or H/top is not in Oz yet so I havn't seen it but I would have thought the AMT 69/70 Plymouth/Dodge suspension etc would be much better detailed than the Coronet, certainly looks that way in the box bottom pics. *NM*
      • Suspension parts in the RR/GTX are better, basic underbody (floorpan) in the Coronet is better IMO *NM*

• Cool book! The Monogram kit was a 19C 304 V8 with reasonable detaill and realism for the era. Kit has been reissued several times and I highly recommend it...TB *NM*

• Yep, that's the one I was referring to. That's what I recall from the Dart brochure that year. 95% of Darts 2drs that year were Dart "Swingers" with the "Free Automatic" (transmission package). It was such a deal that no one wanted - and no dealers stocked...

  • I'd bet on fresh test shots.. no way would archival stuff still be around from '62...
    • They are a touch blunt around the edges. But - Atlantis has a good track record so far

      • I pulled out the original Revell Fury and Imperial kits a couple of weeks ago. They were much better than I recalled. For instance, the Revell Imperial's interior was better detailed than the AMT/SMP '62 Imperial. Anyone else do a direct comparo of one of these kits? *NM*

• LA Dart didn't have a front bumper, also the front wheel openings are too far back...
  • I had an MPC Charlie Allen decal sheet when Iwas in high schooL (class of '82), but I used it on a built Bobby Isaac Charger Daytona! The wheelbases lined up exactly!
