- OT.. Well that was a bust... Xfinity tech was here and says there is nothing that he can do without the landlord's consent, as the issue appears to be with the cables within the walls... So no show pics for now... Weird that I still have television and voice service though. *NM*
- 2011-09-22 Lewis Antique Auto and Toy Museum NM more of a junk yard then museum but some neat stuff (at least to me). *LINK* *PIC*
- I'm down by Roseville, MI. Any hobby shops near by worth going to? *NM*
- Well, got through "Lee" with minor mishaps here. Lost a large branch off a tree beside the drive and some minor seepage in the basement to dry up. Haven't heard from Curb, Craig Betts or John Dezan, they live closet to where the storm made landfall. Hope all's OK with them. *NM*
- Darn it! I've misplaced the info on this. Anybody remember a custom rod made mostly from a '28 Dodge, I think, painted red. Help? *NM*
- What do you think of the front end on this truck? *PIC*
- I'm building a 1967 Cyclone and I found many, many pics of a fully restored one. The floor pans are painted or undercoated in semi gloss black. It's pretty plain. Is there a way I can "liven it up" with a wash or some other way of detailing? ....... *PIC*.....
- Wondering if there were two '69 tools - or

- What is the difference between Tamiya's 'Smoke",and their panel line paint (whatever it's called). Is there any reason to have both?? Thanks. *NM*
- That is just very,,very cool!!!! TB *NM*
- Happy Birthday to our friends Larry and Cliff Read... All the best to you my good friends... *NM*
- MEK. Not the substitute crap. I got enough to last me quite awhile. Go out of state if you have to. *NM*
- I would would just leave the kit's lines as-is. Think about it.
- First one of those I've seen built up. Nice! *NM*
- Re: No, it was a darker blue. Here it is on Jan 1977…
- Audi R8 *PIC*
- Old Photos: Early piggyback trailers *2 PICS* & *LINK*
- There are fingernail art brushes that could easily do a line that narrow, especially if you masked off the lines. No different than scale pinstriping *NM*
- Thank you all! Hopefully I'll wrap this one up in the near future. *NM*
- 2010-10-17 Phoenix Orphan Car Show A fill in for Marty. *LINK* *PIC*
- ATTENTION ALL!!!!! MY EMAIL HAS BEEN COMPROMISED DIABLED. CAN'T GET SUPPORT TIL MONDAY. SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. *NM*
- It's the weekend again, and once again, my Internet and WiFi are on the Fritz (I'm really getting fed up with Xfinity).... My best guess is no Friday Evening Randomness again this week. *NM*
- Rich/NV did you sent me an e-mail wanting to know if I used Amazon ? *NM*
- Miscellaneous Mopar Madness *PICS*
- Great stuff, Tim. FWIW, there was a Paul Bunyan restaurant and statue just west of Ann Arbor at the I-94 Scio Road interchange (NW corner of Zeeb and Jackson Road) back in the 1960s. Have no idea what happened to the statues; the restaurant building is still there. TB *NM*
- TRAIN GUYS: The 41st Annual Temple Model Train Show is tomorrow and Sunday here in central Texas.
- I received an email showing that the AMT '63 Ford pickup is set to be released in November. Is this true? *NM*
- Studebaker Stance is set. Engine compartment roughed in. *PIX*
- I was building aircraft/armor/ships when that was new - the cover art was fantastic but never bought it
- Buffalo NNL
- Re: Update on my 53 Studebaker resin. *PICs*
- Hello this working
- Bad Hot Rod! *NM*
- Not a Mopar man but would have purchased them in honor of Steve Magnante and hope he would feel little better! Good luck Steve! *NM*
- Wow! That’s a lot of tires.lol! *NM*
- Nice work! *NM*
- Thanks....Frank! *NM*
- Isee RoG Bond DB5 is coming in DEC......
- I have a soft spot for that gen Studebaker pickup. Our Boy Scout leader had one and it played a large role in our trips hauling stuff for camping, etc. Mr. Ernie Wilkie was a great guy and a fun leader. We were more focused on fun stuff than trying to rack up merit badges. *NM*
- There is a diecast model of the '40s pickups. *NM*
- 1/64" vinyl tape and a lot of patience, perhaps? *NM*
- Can someone help me understand something about ebay?
- Absolutely stunning! *NM*
- ....and now a paint question....What primer do I need to use under this old Model Master Custom Lacquer paint? I don't have any of the primer in my stash, but have a few cans of useable Color left.
- Yet another question, did Monogram/Revell ever provide the GT Radial sidewall decals in any kit, or is painting the raised lettering the only option? *NM*
- WOW!! How great is that collection of builds!! *NM*
- Nice work!! *NM*
- Looking good! *NM*
- Nope. Stuff like this is better left as-molded. It's so tiny, whether you paint it or not it won't be too noticeable. And if you try to paint it and mess it up, it'll stick out like a sore thumb. *NM*
- Here are some Mopars: **PICS**
- Great idea, using the Foose chassis.... Is that body cast resin or 3D printed? I have one of the Star Models Studebakers that is 3D printed..... *NM* *PIC*
- Yeah, problem is the lines are ribbed not scribed. That's why my first thought was to rub a pencil or marker over the ribs, but no such luck.. *NM*
- Already scribed? Maybe Tamiya Panel Line Accent in Brown or Gray. You might have to (carefully!) scribe them a little deeper. *NM*
- Hi Mike. I'm working on this 1967 Cyclone. I'm going to wet sand the body tonight. I won't polish it until probably tomorrow. I hope to have this build finished for the Shutterbug show in Portland on Sept. 30. .......... *PICS* .....
- Agreed, probably one of, if not THE very best in scale drag cars ever produced. Those Johan drag kits are top shelf! *NM*
- Those are pretty cool, I saw a youtube video of the test shot of Moebius Altered wheelbase Coronet as well as the "mostly" un-altered wheelbase car. I'm really looking forward to the stock-ish version myself. *PIC*
- You'd have to be a lot more specific. It was different from year to year and model to model. *NM*
- I think that virtually all kits that had both hardtop & convertible kits or promos available would have had the convertible doglegs, simpler to have just one interior tub. *NM*
- Ultimate solution would be ALPS met gold on decal film. *NM*
- Unfortunately this gluebomb was built with some wierd glue that has attacked some parts but its on the restorable list, I just marvel at the shine on the plastic, just beautiful. *NM*
- Go straight to the original sources, the Hamtramck Registry website, which has a great set of the interior color and trim books for 1960s through late 1970s Mopars (link inside) *LINK*
- Man, that’s a situation that begs for a decal , way too fine lines to be able to paint cleanly , the make thin line decals n varying widths , maybe look for some red or orange ones and hand lay line by line? *NM*
