• Good Morning, I am currently working on a 63 and a 64 Galaxie and am wondering if anyone make decals for the emblems on the front fenders. The Galaxie emblem and then the one at the front of the fender right next to the headlight. I think it has 427 one it. *NM*

  • Think the '64 was modified into the '65. AMT would have to retool a new body and other parts. *PICS*

  • I was just looking for one online. I was already aware of that "melt" issue from long ago. I haven't owned one yet. I was trying to get one for some parts I might be able to use. *NM*
  • At one point, Moebius acknowledged the problem and arranged for customers to get a set of tires which weren't supposed to attack the plastic. I still have both sets and the original set has dissolved into black goo. *NM*

          • Looks like it was based on an early '60s Thiocol based on the layout of the tracks. There were different versions with different numbers of wheels. *NM* *PIC*

    • Those are part of a vintage Pro Stock series that runs mostly in the midwest, Several Tribute cars in the series....at least I think it's still around. *NM*

      • That is correct.... The car is part of the Midwest Nostalgia Pro Stock group, that appears at several events in this area every year.... The cars are more tribute than precise replicas and they race them hard!!!!
    • Richie Zul bought Grumpys 71 Camaro and updated it with a 74 front end, It eventually ended up as the Dennis Ferrara B/EA car , before being returned to the Jenkins 71 colors and front clip a few years ago.... *PIC*
      • That "restoration" was pretty much cutting the roof off of the later version and putting it on another body. When Jenkins had it, the car still had stock front suspension and the rear rails hadn't been moved in *NM*

• Evening all, I need some help identifying a tractor trailer chassis/drivetrain so I can find the instructions to know what I am missing mostly from the engine for an idea I have had for a while. I got the chassis in a bunch of stuff quite awhile ago. 3 pics...
  • Some help for you. Engine is a Detroit with an allison trans. Appears to be a cabover. The stand on the drivers side of the frame is for the shifter I think. Hope that helps. *NM*
