  • Looks good Rob. It's not the easiest kit to get everything lined up properly, I have a couple. ,, On the tires, those ones have the three little arrows on the side walls to indicate the proper rotation, all are on backwards. *NM*

  • I built several of Revell's outstanding 1/16 scale funny cars and dragsters as a teen back in the 70's.... The last 1/16 scale kit that I actually "finished" was one of the Revell '34 Ford coupes back in the early 90's....

    • Mike, well the body from the front windscreen back is an early to mid 50's English Morris Minor, as for the front....lol....well it looks like the front suspension is some US car but whats under the hood, who knows.....lol. *NM*
    • . Andy has it right,,,, It's a Morris Minor on what appears to be a GM chassis (70's maybe)... I spotted it sitting along side of a little auto repair shop, while driving through Galena (IL), on U.S. 20, a few years ago, and had to stop and grab a few pics....

        • Body's dropped down low over the frame. I haven't heard that term either but I suspect he's refering to it being channeled lower then you'd usually see. *NM*

      • Yup.... There are some things that absolutely scream 1950's East Coast hod rod... And a deep channel with a stock or near stock height roof is one of them.... If you can find a copy of the book "Cool Cars, Square Roll Bars", I highly recommend it *PIC*

  • That's very disappointing. I've been a subscriber since day one. I do think it lost a good deal of its special sauce when the prior editor Richard Lentinello (sp?) left to create his own mag Crankshaft a few years ago. That mag is also changing to a twice-yearly "book" form *NM*

      • More than once I've used "off scale" tires, wheels, etc. Inside is an example of a 1/25 '41 Chevy using a 1/35 military chassis, wheels, tires.

    • Yes it comes as a complete kit. With 2 choices on the body. You can print it with or without the hood. If you choose the open hood option you'll need to provide an engine. Otherwise as i said it's complete. *NM*
