- Scott, looks like those chassis rivets are soft grey plastic, IIRC, X-El used those. I have a few of their Caddys and I'm pretty sure those are the same. Still a very cool piece for an excellent price. *NM*

- I found the particular info you were looking for in regards to the wheels and tires Dennis used here (which I quoted below). I do not believe Dennis heavily kit bashed this particular project.

- Sometimes I wish when the bigger kits get reissued, I wish they would receive updated parts. The model companies have done some for the smaller scales, why not for the bigger scales (1/16, etc.)?
- From when I had my shop the 1/16th-1/20 & 1/12th kits were slow sellers but the Mono 1/8th Big T & Deuce kits sold well & were updated so maybe projected sales is the reason. *NM*
- They don't sell as many units per reissue, and cost more to make changes to *NM*

- You remember correctly.... Could be built as either a "phone booth" close cab, or roadster pickup... The opening doors could be a bit tricky (as could the folding hood), but it was one of my favorites from my early teen years. *NM*
- I think more releases of the kit had both cabs. The newest one I have is the "rat rods" reissue and both are in it. *NM*

- I was only saying that the MPC kit is much closer to a pro stock car with it's narrowed chassis and tubbed interior than this one is, not saying you can't alter it to be a P/S.....
