• What do you think of this C10 using an El Camino rear bumper? *NM* *PIC*
  • I think the rear bumper looks okay, but the driver's side rear fender seems to have a peculiar elongated wheel opening flare with an offset wheel/tire location or is it just the angle of the pic? Is that stock? *NM* *PIC*
    • It's the angle. The wheel openings are on the large side, as the same fenders were used on two and four-wheel-drive trucks. No plastic flares or filler pieces as on SUVs today *NM*

  • Yeh, they seem to have some issues...lol...my Collectible Auto mags were being sent to ENGLAND,repackaged in Royal Mail bags & sent from London with British mail code stampings yet CA refused to acknowledge that the overseas mail system had changed, took 12mths to admit it. *NM*

    • Drop the nose a hair, cut grooves in the hood, so that only about the top 1/3 to 1/2 of the injectors are poking through and I think you've got it. *NM*

    • There's 3 chrome trees in that kit, Jim. You want the one with the hemi valve covers, dog dish hubcaps and moon tank on it. *NM*
      • Well, you're probably not going to believe this, but they are not there, and never have been. Looked at that tree 3 times. Nope. *NM*
        • Jim, check the chrome sprue that has the hubcaps,Heni valve covers & moon tank...the Pontiac tailights are beside the moon tank ends , attached to the twin 4 barrel carbys, part # 517 (twice)...this is in the blue & yellow box art 5W 32 Ford Coupe kit, # 4228. *NM*

• In regards the '50 Pontiac tail lights thread (which I can't find right now) there are tail lights in the trailer parts with the '68 Superbee that will do nicely. May be a bit big, but look good. *NM*

    • The Imai Cadillac is 1/24th scale, its a big car & looks the big next to any 1/25th model,I nearly bought a RHD 57 Eldo Seville 45 yrs ago but couldn't work out the "corvette" style rear fenders, it was pink with green upholstery, power evrything, the Imai kit has been .....

• Neat story, I think there was less than 200 RHD Javelins in total made in Oz, they may have expected to build more as there was quite a few NOS spares available in the late 70's, I used a NOS tilt column in the Track Roadster I was building back then......lol. *NM*

    • That would have been due to the Canada Post strike, which halted mail during parts of Nov./Dec. I received all my items that were held up about a month ago, and things have been moving normally since. *NM*

• I acquired a built '61 Impala convertible like that coupe (most of the Styline parts glued to it, plus the rear bumper was a stock '32 Ford bumper!) Spray painted metallic blue, '61 Lincoln dash. Still have it that way.
