Finished but yet not exactly. PICs I still have to decide what to do with the windshield surround. Leave it yellow, chrome all of it (that is the way the real car is) or just chrome the inner part.
Fun little car *NM*
I would love to have one the zip around in. *NM*
My vote is factory chrome but the half chrome could look good, too. Don’t forget the vent windows, though. *NM*
After l looked at the oics l decided to do the inside chrome and half way through painting l decided to do it all. Now l have to wait a week or so for it to fully cure. *NM*
Hemmings.com posted a story today, featuring a Graveyard Cars video--Mark Worman has found a '74 'Cuda 360...with all of SIX MILES on the odometer!! Dealer in Texas never sold the car when it was new! Mark says he first saw it on the showroom floor of the dealer's old store *LINK* *PIC*
Interesting how the red paint has bled through the white decals! *NM*
I watched that video the other day. It was very fun to watch. AND!! It has a twin!!! *NM*
Another beauty Steve. Very nice work sir. *NM*
Can anyone need Help me find a windshield that looks like this
I think that might be the one that comes with the '64 Cutlass ragtop kit for the salt flats racer.
Re: Thanks but that one is squared I'm looking for one that is more rounded *NM*
Old F1 or Indy car would be a probable source. *NM*
MODELING HISTORY: Anybody else remember these kits with Garage display items? If my memory serves, these kits involved a law suit (c.2000). Too bad...SCANS INSIDE
Don't remember this kit at all........the parts look similar to what was in the Fujimi Garage kits tho' that would be obvious seeing they are both kits of the same item.........lol. *NM*
Yes. I have two unbuilt in the stash (1/24 not the 1/43). They cloned a lot of the R&D Unique scale tools when that company was still in business. Hence the legal issues. *NM*
Gerry, the ones i have are also the 1/24 version. *NM*
IIRC that kit ended up in a lawsuit .......
R&D Unique was the company they cloned parts. *NM*
YES....Thanks Gerry! *NM*
Think the kits were dumped at Walmart. I've got one of the 1/24 versions myself. Think I splurged for the 1/43 kit--it came with a free Dodge Viper diecast ....... *PIC*
Sure do. The 1/43 one is what I started with to do a replica of my one-to-one garage, I have the 1:24 version as well but haven’t done anything with it *NM* *PIC*
I think I still have a couple of each scale versions. Didn't know about the law suit. *NM*
Love that smooth paint job, color and wheels. Great build all around. *NM*
Very nice save. *NM*
Cool build. Is that a kit or scratch built? *NM*
Sweet build. The green looks good with the other colors. *NM*
Thank you. *NM*
Welcome Cliff to the most informative modeling board around. *NM*
Nicely done. *NM*
For 4, 6....'46 Plymouth (pics)
Beautiful car. The paint looks like it's smooth as glass. *NM*
Wow thats nice, much better than I'd ever do.....tho' to be truthfull I'd use different wheels, Cragar SS or similar....lol. *NM*
Enjoying 3D design and printing.. *PIC*
Very nice, Steve. *NM*
You're the MAN!! *NM*
Looks great!! *NM*
Excellent paint and good looking build. *NM*
I really should, but I'd have to order one. So not for awhile.... *NM*
A tribute to the late John White (sorta long)
I know the feeling. I feel the same after winning the first Bud LaFever Memorial Award. *NM*
I met John in Toledo after talking to him several times inline. He was an insporation to me..and I REALLY wanted to see the "pool table" set using the colors of pool balls before he left us. I will miss chatting with him. *NM*
Turned out great! Very nice build! *NM*
Great shots! Thanks :) *NM*
50th Grand National Roadster Show...1999... *LINK*
Great PIX, Howard. I'd never seen many of these..kinda blows you away... *NM*
How cool is that!! *NM*
Wow, a lot of those look familiar. Maybe in the pages of Street Rodder back in the day. Thanks Howard! *NM*
I've been a bit quiet as of late here
Still building neat stuff regardless of the pace! *NM*
Know what you mean, Tim! This winter slowed me down too. A little bit physically and a lot buildingwise!! Gotta keep going though! *NM*
Neat stuff Tim! I really like the Bonnie wagon! I don't blame you feeling that way with all the snow and ice you guys have been getting up in da UP! *NM*
