    • I took a few liberties with this MM version... For one the decals are from the SS verison. Plus I didn't put the hood strip on but that was a small area around the hole. *NM*

• Has anyone tried bsi (Bob Smith Industries) Gap Filing glue? Is it just a thick glue? *NM*
  • A local hobby shop (now closed) used to sell it rebranded as their own. It's thicker, gap filling super glue *NM*
  • BSI Glue is the only CA glue I use. I use it for some assembly work and most all of my body work and seam filling. It sands well, but a blocking/sealing primer is needed after as it can ghost under certain paints.
    • Interesting.... I also use it all the time, but I've never had any issues with it fogging chrome parts. *NM*

  • I don't recall that one ever being called a specific brand. It has parts from the 1963 Rayson-Craft boat, but the hull is different *NM*
  • It's a Kindsvater hull. Entirely different than the Rayson-Craft hull in the original Trophy Series kit from1963. Most of the rest of the kit carries over from the Rayson-Craft kit. You can read all the details in the March/April 2025 Fine Scale Modeler mag.... *NM*

  • Depends on whether the individual dealer wants to special-order a paint color, and whether that factory has the wherewithal to do it, usually.

    • Not just the Pontiacs. When I tried to order a '69 Z28 new, I was told I could not have it in Tuxedo Black because that color was "withdrawn" from availability for an undetermined time. It lasted into the 70-70-1/2 models.
