    • Since this is a first time event, there are a lot of unknowns.... I do know that NSRA is projecting 2000+ entries. Also Saturday typically draws the biggest car count and crowds at Friday/Saturday shows like this. *NM*

    • I've never seen a Hooters girl with a whip. The North Texas Mustang Club now holds its "monthly" cruise/show at the Hooters in Grand Prarie, and the girls there don't have whips. *LINK*

• Question for those that use 3d printed parts: Do you use primer on the parts? Have you tried not using primer? Curious if the parts don't react with lacquer or acrylic paints. *NM*
  • FWIW, I use parts from a variety of 3D-printer folks. I swab them first with 91% alcohol & Q-tip. Use Gunze & Tamiya primers--no problems. Shoot Tamiya & RoG w/o primers--no problems here either. *NM*

  • Cadillac has four (or six) carbs, no supercharger *NM*
  • Both engines are the old Revell Parts Pack ones, no? *NM*
    • As well as all the other parts, except the tires! I do wish they'd run that suspension parts pack through the plating equipment though *NM*
      • I wouldn't be heartbroken if they also plated the engine trees too. *NM*
        • That frame pack was sold with plating also...heck, let's run all of the parts through the plating equipment! *NM*
          • Not for many, as stated above, but I prefer not plated. For those who know me, I don't build much but I do more stripping of plating than building with it. *NM*

  • The Engines were Plated when Revell issued them . They can still be found. I would rather see the Roadster Chassis Speed Equipment tree be Plated. I asked Jim Keeler about the Dragster Speed Equipment . He said the mold was missing.
    • Some of the dragster chassis parts ended up in the Studebaker funny car, as did the Chrysler engine, and the dream car chassis, as well as wheels from another wheel pack *NM*
      • Some of which makes the Scorpion an awesome parts source

• I believe there are lots of resin stuff for trucks. Plastikits used to do a bunch of stuff but I don'y know if nhe's still in business. There are also Models By Dave but I think he does all or mostly emergency vehicles. *NM*

• A flush fender skirt would allow the clean lines you have created to be smooth. Just scribe the stock wheel opening line and remove the bar at the bottom edge to carry the lower line profile tof the skirt to blend with fender shape. Let the side trim piece and the paint be

• I’ve run into sellers that that think their Lemans Sport/T-37’s are worth a fortune. Though, it may depend on how serious they are in selling it. I wouldn’t pay GTO money for one, though. *NM*

  • But - you need to have production facilities, packaging, distribution, licensing, etc.
• What's in 1K Clear? It obviously doesn't have the catalyst in it like the 2K. I've not tried the 2K but I've been pretty pleased with the Duplicolor 1K. *NM*
