- COLT TALK DOWN BELOW.... Didn't want to take away from that post because I added something to my post but here is one that did 15-20yrs ago. PIX and thanks for looking
- Dumb question: what are the cuts to make the '60 longbed into a shorty... and can either an unmodified bed or a shortened bed be used to make a "Wrong Box" early Ford Pickup? *NM*
- BLEED-THROUGH QUESTION: Kit is red plastic. Didn't some Board member use Tamiya Silver Leaf or Bare Metal Silver as a barrier? (Yes, I know about BIN. Got some--too lazy to get out the airbrush, and it adds extra thickness.) *NM*
- Looking through the CARtoons articles our hosts have on hand. On the cover of issue 37 is a blue coupe. Kind of inspiring to me. *PIC*
- More old car and model pics. Some good and some not so good. *LINK*
- Straight Line Saturday....
- Thanks Matt & Dawn! Two days from ordering to getting here! *NM*
- Sorry boys n girls.... Computer isn't computing tonight, so no Friday Evening Randomness for you this week... *NM*
- Great to see David Dale and his brother Gary *NM* *LINK*
- Just cracked the box on my new Revell DB5 "007" - very impressed. Wondering if any little birdies around RoG have plans for a non-007?
- More old car and model pics. *LINK*
- Just received my ‘60 Ford pickup! Great service Matt & Dawn. *NM*
- Andy, there's some good background on it here... *NM* *LINK*
- Resin figure done - *PIC*
- Miscellaneous Mopar Madness *PICS*
- FYI Scott. I just watched a build video on the Revell Van and the box says 1/25 scale. The AMT kit might be easier to find, but if you're looking for the "Groovy" interior parts, not so much. *NM*
- STARTED GETTING READY.... for some decals that I'm going to have made, so along with the Buick this Fairlane is on the hit list. PIX and thanks for looking.
- Thank you Matt & Dawn, got order today!! *NM*
- I'm thinking of buying a kit of the AMT '63 Ford F100. I would rather the short bed variant. Anyone have measurements to make it so? Or maybe a resin copy? *NM*
- If it's a straight up reissue, it doesn't look like it was included... *NM* *PIC*
- Thank you, Matt & Dawn and crew!...
- Good stuff Frank. That '66 Buick GS would be another excellent kit for Round2 to resurrect and retool! *NM*
- I also just finished a 57 Chevrolet 150. I like the way it turned out. *NM* *PIC*
- I finished my Torino, here are the completed photos *NM* *PIC*
- Doubt it - as Mark notes it is an eyelash in scale
- Looks like the L&L is a '67 Olds F-85 body which is not a hardtop, but has post and enclosed frame door glass. Stock most(?) have a bench front seat. The F-85 also has minimal side trim. Looks like you are aware of that but if you want some good F-85 reference pics there *LINK*
- Anyone else see this as their 60 Ford Pickup build? *NM* *PIC*
- Mid '70's drag race pics *LINK*
- Link to Carson Top Shop history *LINK*
- Thank you for taking the time to do this. I really dig the pics. I save all that interest me *NM*
- No clue on the identity of the models...I sat out the 1973/74 MPC Contest Series...but those 1/1 scale van pix are giving me flashbacks with all those airbrushed scenes....TB *NM*
- It's cool you like it, but they lost me with the cinder blocks under the jack stands with the full weight of the van on them...
- Thanks for the response Andy. I figured someone here would know. *NM*
- Looking good Frank, if any parts from the circle track Skylark kit with the cartoon tires will help I have some open sir! Let me know if there is! *NM*
- I built the 007 red one - same thing. I hunted down the directions for the MPC version online and that showed the extra parts / engine etc --
- I get on the scale. *NM*
- Love that Willys panel. Freemans Resin still around? *NM*
- That's a good lookin' build, Rich. *NM*
- okey dokey *NM*
