    • For reference, this is the build Frank is doing the body for. The body in the pics is one I threw some paint on so I could drive the truck while Frank does the show body. Pics inside.

  • There is a die cast 1966 Biscayne I've looked at many times - *PIC*
    • The 1/18th scale I had was close to the color of my car and not a Nicky w/ steel wheels. *NM*
  • Do I remember correctly that you were changing out the motor in your Biscayne? *NM*
    • I already changed out the motor with one of the new fuel injection units. Motor is a 350 with a small cam and headers. *NM*

  • This doesn't exactly answer that question, but something to consider. I bought the '70 F100 4x4, and then purchased the Fireball Modelworks FMR-154 F250 4x4 conversion. You only need one kit that way. *NM*
    • So are the '66 and '70 chassis the same or similar? Again, I don't have the kits so can't compare them. *NM*

• Question for the board. My go to black paints are the ones from Tamiya. However they are currently out of stock locally. What's your go to? Looking for an alternative. *NM*

  • For brushing I use Humbrol 14ml enamel tinlets, flat, satin & gloss black....just what I've used for 50yrs. *NM*
  • For Matte black I use Vallejo. I do use craft paint as well sometimes. Gloss black I use Testors bottle, craft paint, or just clear coat the matte paint. *NM*
• How does the Revell '64 Impy compare to the old AMT? Thanks. *NM*

      • Full detail separate chassis . Platform interior with separate side panels. Just a nicer kit all around in my opinion. No metal axles and plate chassis.

• Question: would the GLASS be much different between a '60 and '63 Ford Falcon? *NM*
  • They should be the same. If 63 is a "fastback" it will be different from earlier ones. *NM*

  • Still got the 1940 Dodge after 53yrs & also had a 1941 Plymouth ASC Coupe, a Detroit built, factory RHD car assembled in Sth Africa......had it for 7yrs, sold it like a dope.....duh! *NM*

  • I have a Motor City resin '41 four-door sedan body/interior I got at NNLEast a good decade ago or so. Unfortunately I never got around to doing anything with it and it warped. Makes me wonder if it would have warped if had been assembled. *NM*
