Not sure if this is the same malady Dave, nor how old you are, but I'm 77, been doing car shows and donut shops for 32 years, and it is getting old. *NM*

I quit going to a lot of outdoor car shows when the "used cars" started showing up. If I saw one on a car lot or in a parking lot while driving to the show, I don't need to see one at the show *NM*

That's what I'm thinking too. 2 or 3 year old Challengers, Mustangs and Camaros just a the owners bought them off the lot. , I agree. If I wanted to see that kind of thing I'd go to a car lot. At least they usually will even let you take them out for a drive there. *NM*

Showing a current car is not a issue....but winning because you had the $100K+ to buy is not right IMHO ONLY

The turbos are boosts for the current gas powered smaller cars that use gas, of course, but that is a separate branch of newer generation "hot rods", mainly Asian model brands. I do not know if there is such a thing as turbos for hybrids yet. ;^) *NM*
The Woodward Cruise has largely become a new car showroom - we are on the other side of the state now and I doubt I'll travel for it
