Back after almost a week at PitS. We had a good times with family and enjoyed the show......but as I age I am becoming a bit jaded I think. Note almost all photos are from inside the show. Two reasons, I was in my wheelchair and it was easy to get around inside.....and outside display has become huge and almost no vintage Mustangs. I am very happy the folks 30 and under are keeping the hobby booming.....but how many 2022 Mustangs can you look at before they all look alike and I become uninterested. Add to it this show is VERY current car centered. Of the 100 awards close to 70 went to Mustangs 2015 or newer.....some stock high dollar Shelby's that only needed big dollars to obtain. After 3 years this may be the last PitS show for me. Traffic in Pigeon Forge has become horrible. It's no fun going anywhere. Cost is also a factor. Thousands spent w/o that much fun. Maybe the best event was the PitS visit to BUSH'S bean factory!!! Sorry to be a bit of a downer.....just being real. Thanks
