though they came in different lengths - the fender portion I think had the same Ford part number throughout those years.

I know when the Moebius trucks first came out I used a Revell flare side bed off the rat Fink 1950s Ford pickup kit (white truck on the box with flames). I did have to alter the length of the chassis but it otherwise fit. :-)
