LATE NIGHT BENCH TIME...You know the story. PIX and thanks for looking
Double dose of h#$C! yes right there! Is the Fairlane the annual or a "SSS" issue?
Damn Frank I started a Mercury T Bolt a few years back and it is close but fought back all the way it is close to finished but put away for a while, I'll look for photo later.. *NM*
Well I'm thinking this is going to happen soon. I'll be waiting for you Gary. *NM*
I’m in no hurry Frank . You win. I seldom build in the middle of the night and am finishing my 64 Chevelle first. *NM*
Sorry Gary I didn't mean it to be a race I was just excided we were joining forces. Time wasn't an issue just keeping the glue flowing. HaHaHa *NM*
Frank I’m not Gary read the fine print I’m George the other Porter from KKIM. *NM*
Sorry George I was talking to a Gary while I was on the post... Sorry *NM*
Heres a an old photo of mt Merc to T bolt conversion ,more inside *PIC*
I am really liking that! *NM*
Well, maybe a thought for you: The AMT '69 Cougar chassis is practically a drop fit in the early Falcon/Comet/Ranchero
Thats an idea and I have a 69 Cougar kit sitting here. The original concept was that it be a what if Thunderbolt and
If the stance/concept is right, the roughest ones sometimes out-cool the most accurate builds. I was always jealous of my cousin's ability to throw them together like that. *NM*
Fie upon me for not having more accessible pics of the Ranchero with the Cougar bits accessible to share, here
Re: Nice looking Ford's *NM*
Here is the Darrell Droke 65, Downey Ford sponsored. *PIC*
Thank You CD... That was where I was heading but during my search I found a Fairlane with "Performance Associates" Mel Burns Ford w/289 and being this was a really nice kit I decided to do that car and not waste the rest of the kit by using T-Bolt stuff. *NM*
I even found an extra Cammer for it. Doing the car I choose I searched for a stock hood and I bought it. So some day I'll find a not so nice 65 and use the Cammer along with the T-Bolt chassis and stuff. Some day and I'll at least be ready. *NM*
I look forward to seeing it. I'm sure it will be stellar!
It is a SOHC, not entirely sure it started with that engine or it was fitted down the line
