DST did in fact build a '65 T-Bolt from a 500 sport coupe, I believe it was shoed by Darrell Droke, straight outta Downey, CA. A gorgeous candy apple red, with gold leaf. I need to check the notes, but it had a SOHC if memory serves, and won its eliminator class at the Winternationals. No idea of what happened to it after the race, seems to have gone underground.

The Meteor is a winner on that Fairlane chassis - I could easily see same in the Bill Stroppe colors that later graced the drag race Comets and the gorgeous GN / USAC Marauders.
