More 69 Camaro questions if you don't mind... I just watched the Youtube video Crime Dog mentioned in my earlier post on Revell 69 Camaro's.
None of the Revell 69 Camaro's had an automatic. For 69 the small block automatic cars would have been a power glide 2 speed. They are available in resin. *NM*
As Len said. But there is a PowerGlide 2 speed automatic in the Revell 56 Delray... *PIC*
Len, Gerry et al, the model trans in this picture is a Turbo 400; you can tell by the reinforcing ribs near the tailhousing. In Gerry's pic, that's a Turbo 350 below the Powerglide. *NM*
Calnaga.com has resin TH350’s for sale 3.00 *NM*
I'm assuming your query is for factory stock. As regards the Powerglide (2 speed) versus Turbo Hydro (3 Speed) they do look quite different...
The turbo 350 was offered as an option on 6 cyl and small block cars in 1969. *NM*
The scale is incorrect, but the TH350/400 is in the 70 Buick GSX along with the "horseshoe" shifter.
Thanks I will look into them. *NM*
The AMT[X-MPC] '84 GMC 4X4, '80 Monte Carlo and, IIRC, the '86 Elcamino also have autos in them. The Monte Carlo and Elcamino trannys should be TH350s like what would have came in a Camaro. *NM*
Actually, the '80 Monte Carlo and 86 El Camino had the 200 series metric transmissions not TH350’s. Pan shape was different. However, MPC never changed it from the ‘79 M/C annual TH350. *NM*
