  • Scott, I have a 1968 full Plymouth shop manual, it shows the full single exhaust systems for both the 383 Fury & Belvedere as what you have posted even tho' its 1968, it looks the same, the book covers every engine & option, 2" thick. *NM*

    • I agree but make sure that you get both tires the same size as I believe that sprint cars used two different sized tires from left to right ?? *NM*
  • I think you could get close with the bigger tires that used to come in the older Monogram 3 in 1 kits. There was a stock set of tires, a set of slicks and a set of bigger rear tires to match the stock ones. They work vey well on hot rod kits.

    • It's all got to do with the lighting, and what angle it's on. That's how pearl paints work. *NM*

• What kind of adhesive/glue do you guys use to attach plug wires, fuel lines, battery cables and other under hood wiring and plumbing and such ? And how do you apply it ? Thanks. *NM*
  • Scott, I use mostly zap-a-gap medium CA. Recently started using Aileen's jewelry and metal glue. The consistency is more like a contact cement and allows more time to work the piece in place. I've found it works well for photo etch also as it can be cleaned easier.

      • They're wood, notched at the top and a bit longer and thicker than a regular toothpick....pic
  • For most of what I do, CA is the answer. Applied with the point of a disecting needle. Does not work well with aluminum so I use 2 part epoxy for that. *NM*
  • Super Glue !!! Or Crazy Glue for you weirds !!! LOL !!! It has been the glue of choice along with my accelerator it seems to do the best in most applications !!! I actually buy the 4 pack tubes they sell at the "mart" because they are cheap and they do not go bad ! *NM*
    • Doesn't that dry white ? What container is your accelerator in. The accelerator I bought is in a spray bottle. I can't imagine using that in an engine compartment. *NM*
  • Tiny stuff which will never be under stress? Canopy glue (for model aircraft). It is much easier to work with than super-glue, because it gives you time to work. Also won't fog or create cobwebs like the s/g. *NM*

  • Perhaps - if PROPER life safety and fire safety criteria are applied. Much of Malibu and Palisades and adjacent areas were built decades ago with little regard to fire prevention, mitigation, suppression and safety in mind. Squeezing as much value ($) out of every

  • I don't think it's a matter of A/C or no A/C. It depends on the year. The top one is most likely correct for a '68. The bottom one has the extra emission control stuff on it, and I'm pretty sure that didn't start till '70. *NM*
  • Scott, I had an original Oz 1968 Dodge Phoenix 4dr H/top(RHD version of the 1968 Plymouth Fury) & only came with a 2 barrel 383 & that aircleaner in the top pic, if that any help.....probably not...lol. *NM*
