There was a resin '68; IIRC it was the GT-E version, not the XR-7 annual...

It may have been Mini Exotics (I have one; haven't looked at it in a dog's age). It has the special hood and front end parts (grilles have a horizontal divider bar) but the bumper/grilles unit from the kit is broken into three pieces that don't fit well together or fit the body particularly well. I've got a spare annual unit; will just rework it to add the divider to the grilles, then touch it up with some Revell chrome spray. The other castings are quite nice. Vacuform glass as usual, but '66 Mustang coupe windows fit if you get rid of the connecting strips.
The Lesney '69 street machine is molded in color, plastic is opaque in mine. I got that one at a toy show along with a bunch of other stuff; the guy kept dropping the price to get me to add it to the pile. When it hit $1, I let him throw it in. That issue has the Boss 429 from the early Pinto annual kits.
