Depends on what your interests are. If you want ONLY model cars articles, it is a little thin. If you have any interests in weathering, dioramas, figures, painting techniques, adhesives, tools for modeling, etc. it may still not be worth it to you but they are improving

their model cars coverage and perhaps expanding our area of the modeling world to the military folks when they see there is a lot more to car modeling than just pretty paint jobs. The more car modeling going on with rising demand means more car models producers can justify an increased number of items. Just a few things to consider. And yes, I am still a subscriber and enjoy reading them.

- Great magazine if you like military stuff and ship models. Car models are an afterthought IMHO! *NM*
- I think writing it off as strictly military is a mistake - there have been some pretty good car articles in there by some Boardista
  - Next issue has an 8 page buildup of an AMT 1966 Corvette annual kit, an in-depth look at some of Jim Kampmann's projects, and the recurring "Kit Classics" feature which is 100% cars and trucks (no military/aircraft/ships). May want to take a look if you ...

- IMHO not great for car modeling. I did not renew my subscription. It's great for military modelers. *NM*
- FSM got me into building aircraft models in the '80s. You can learn A LOT by building stuff other than cars & trucks. Great change of pace and the skills you gain are useful in all types of model building. *NM*
