Great magazine if you like military stuff and ship models. Car models are an afterthought IMHO! *NM*
I think writing it off as strictly military is a mistake - there have been some pretty good car articles in there by some Boardista
Next issue has an 8 page buildup of an AMT 1966 Corvette annual kit, an in-depth look at some of Jim Kampmann's projects, and the recurring "Kit Classics" feature which is 100% cars and trucks (no military/aircraft/ships). May want to take a look if you ...
I still keep a subscription. Like Bob said, there's always something useful. Besides, I like dirt. :O)) *NM*
Depends on what your interests are. If you want ONLY model cars articles, it is a little thin. If you have any interests in weathering, dioramas, figures, painting techniques, adhesives, tools for modeling, etc. it may still not be worth it to you but they are improving
IMHO not great for car modeling. I did not renew my subscription. It's great for military modelers. *NM*
FSM got me into building aircraft models in the '80s. You can learn A LOT by building stuff other than cars & trucks. Great change of pace and the skills you gain are useful in all types of model building. *NM*
