  • Most of these 'chrome' products are really ultra-bright silver...
    • true, it's not "real chrome" but it's pretty close. This stuff is completely opaque so I don't think it matters what color's underneath. That 442 bumper is just sprayed over the faded chrome with the plastic showing through in a lot of places and I can't tell the difference. *NM*

        • The price though! It is pobably more cost-effective to send parts out for re-plating. Plus they'll look more like real chrome (if that's what you want). *NM*
          • Yes, kinda pricey. But the last time I sent a couple rack for plating it cost more for shipping then it did the actual plating. [over 100 bucks CDN.] I'm in Canada, remember. I probably will still be sending bumpers for plating for restorations. *NM*

          • Sure, you can send stuff out. But you have to gather up all the parts well ahead of time, to make it worth it you have to fill the rack. This paint can be used if you mess something up, or just have one piece you need to chrome. Nothing wrong with having options. *NM*
