I know I would have sold much more at the Buckeye show. In addition after contest building for many years, after 1990 I built just for me. The two models I rook were just that. If I had not won a thing it was OK. Like stated I saw some internet friends I had not seen in person for over 5 years. Nice low stress show.

My questions were since I had not entered a contet in 30+ years....was 'no winners' a thing today?? WHY any one thinks I am whining is highly questionable. Thanks

  - Not really......I went as a vendor, took new builds to support as much as anything..........
    - sounds like the Soccer Mom mentality , everyone's a winner no losers! I don't know if it matters that much to me, but it does sound kinda odd.
      - I had always built to compete in my previous life. It was a lot more realistic than having a bunch of people that know the builder voting for their friend. I have seen that happen many times...and the guy that built the best car didn't win anything. Even saw a slammer beat w *NM*
