    • Not really......I went as a vendor, took new builds to support as much as anything..........
      • sounds like the Soccer Mom mentality , everyone's a winner no losers! I don't know if it matters that much to me, but it does sound kinda odd.
        • I had always built to compete in my previous life. It was a lot more realistic than having a bunch of people that know the builder voting for their friend. I have seen that happen many times...and the guy that built the best car didn't win anything. Even saw a slammer beat w *NM*

  • I don't think I have experienced that. I generally enter to support a club / event and don't really care about awards.

    • I was going to the Buckeye show in Ohio.....a much larger show. Decided to go more local to support a small club.....
