Since it is the venerable Y-Block 292, there are several in scale that can donate parts to the cause of accuracy

AMT '56-7 Ford, 1957 T-Bird (some nice engine dress-up in there) - also the Revell 1/25 '57 Ford,, any of the American Graffiti diecast from revell (kit from AMT) Also, reversing the trend, the 292 from the truck would be handsome under the hood of a '62 or earlier AMT Ford Galaxie, particularly the neat '61 Club Vicky boxtop on the way soon. FWIW, the '63 Galaxie and '64 Merc have a nice, correct looking stock air cleaner that should fall right in place.

The truck's aftermarket blower rig would be great on the '56 or '57 - guessing hood clearance might be an issue on the latter, but thats what Ed Fluck resin bubble hoods are for!

To give the engine compartment some more visual ooomph, swapping in a 1/24 Y-Block from the ex-Monogram (now Revell) '56 T-Bird would broaden the shoulders a bit.

Of course, sky is the limit for other overheads. Who doesn't have several FE's in the bottom of the parts bin? Or swing for the fence with an MEL from the '66-69 Lincoln kits ... got your trailer tow power right here!

Would be good to know if the 3D universe has yet scaled the factory 223 I-6 overhead, having a dim memory of a resin model of same from Ken Kitchen.
