Am I right in assuming that R2 will make as many as people want to buy?
I believe they are becoming the former. Squad Rod Nova and Datsun PU for example.. Smaller runs to keep demand high and prices up. The old days of huge runs and low prices are coming to a close. Getting to be more of a niche hobby. *NM*
That's an interesting take, but I wonder if it's more a matter of perceived market demand. Those two kits are less popular subjects, and perhaps they don't want to over-produce and be sitting on unsold stock? Of course this is all just speculation on my part. *NM*
Also... the Squad Rod Nova is about to be re-released again soon as another version (don't know if the Squad Rod parts will be in it, but I suspect most of us will just be happy to get the Nova back). *NM*

IMHO he should have looked after you… Regarding supply, it sounds like the timing around CNY had the biggest effect on the current supply situation, so hopefully it all will be resolved soon. The demand should equate to more of these great releases from R2, though. *NM*
