This is for the shock value, and looks like it worked. I don't recall any traditional rods that looked like this, or any part of this. But it's not my stick or my stick welder, so as long as it is a weekend curiosity, may I respectfully say that the car and the owner were made for each other. It is something of a "Michigan Left Turn Signal" to the wider enthusiast movement; rejecting anything remotely "aloha shirt rich guy" taking the idea of patina and found object art to a hallucinatory conclusion.

Look - we lived through the Super Mag 70s, Vans, Euro, Billet, Tuners, Retro, Donk, and by the look of this mobile crash scene, the end of Rat Rods.

Great cars and trucks will ALWAYS be great cars and trucks.

Let's do those, instead.
