You can do what I did when I made the masters for Altered States stock and chopped tops

I got two kits when they were brand new (so this is 7-8 years ago). I took the top in one kit and made the cuts low on the a and b pillars and back of the roof . And then I took the 2nd roof and made those same cuts high. Then I swapped the upper roof sections and glued them to the lower roof sections to create a stock height roof and a roof with a harder chop than Revell provided. Hopefully you can understand what I'm saying.

Sadly Altered States is no longer in business, and I don't believe anyone is offering the stock height for the Revell
