                • The story was during the Korean war. But, as you know, Ford didn't phase out the flathead in passenger cars until '54. *NM*
                  • '55 in Canada, Australia, and probably South Africa too. The French were making new ones into the Eighties, for military vehicles *NM*
                • David's original post & photos referenced '41-'45. The "story" referenced Korea. My remark about TONS of primarily Ford V8 flatheads referenced '32 'til after Korean conflict. *NM*
