Seeing the Chaparrals at the Petroleum Museum in Midland, TX is well worth it. Might be a little out of the way for some of you. LOL. *NM*

VERY cool... I have been amassing a small collection of Chaparral kits in various scales. *PIC*
I too am currently interested in Chaparrals. Just picked up at Detroit the Modeler's 2D which won Le Mans. *NM*
Sorry won at Nurburgring but can be built as Le Mans version *NM*
The Crown Jewel of my Chaparral kit collection.... *PIC*

I don't have any Fisher kits but I do have a set of photo-etch for the 2E that is planned for another kit. Great details *NM*

Having lived in Odessa, Texas (30 or so miles west of Midland) for nine months,it is "a little out of the way" fo MOST people.
I am planning to drive there is August :) *NM*
Might be a little warm then, but still worth it! *NM*
Sweet! I think I remember seeing that kit at last year's show. So Matt came all the way over from Michigan for that? *NM*
I have a Modelers that I got many years ago and another built that I got at DAAM last fall. *NM*
I grabbed one of those and the Union issue of the old IMC kit last year. *NM*
I don't fuss a lot about scale but the old IMC kit seems undersized for 1/25. Here is mine..
Dave, I thought that also when I built my Union issue but it compares o/k with the other IMC GTs & Cougar11 models & other 1/25....it is a small car. *NM*
Very cool Howard! I have a few Chaparral kits that I bought after building Monogram's 2D kit. *NM*
