The Monogram pickup has "stringers" molded as part of the fender piece, to raise the bed slightly...
In Response To: I picked up a copy of the AMT (former MPC) 29 Ford woody/roadster pickup kit at the Kemps' meet a couple weeks ago. Thought it might be cool to do a simple flathead powered hot rod quick build... Well I was perusing the kit contents when I noticed something odd.... ()

...pretty sure the Revell '29 pickup does also. The MPC kit has those molded with the bottom of the pickup bed, to leave the floor back there flat for the wagon version. Using the Monogram (or Revell) bed on the AMT/MPC fenders will leave the bed sitting too low compared to the cab--
