Engineered in roughly the same time period, by the same folks, it would be my first choice to make a 390 GT Mustang. Bet there would be a few chaps who have the stock tin left over to replicate the car I first passed 120 mph in (sorry Mom & Dad) in year of our lord 1977.

I am using AMT's '67 Mustang GT kit to replicate my '67 Mustang that had a 390 in it. Does the engine in the GT look enough like a 390 to work? Thanks. *NM*
- No, it's a 289. But, the parts pack 427 looks the same as it is an "FE" engine. *NM*
