No, it's a 289. But, the parts pack 427 looks the same as it is an "FE" engine. *NM*

I am using AMT's '67 Mustang GT kit to replicate my '67 Mustang that had a 390 in it. Does the engine in the GT look enough like a 390 to work? Thanks. *NM*

Any of the engines from the AMT Edsel,1960/65/66 Galaxies,66/67 Fairlane & Mercurys...any Ford engine with the distributor in the front except a 427 SOHC conversion which a lot of AMTs FE engines had as an option, the 390 was in the 332/352/390/406/427 FE family. *NM*
Yeah thanks, I just discovered my '65 Galaxie has a 427 in it, so I'll use that. *NM*
The very common "Fairlane 427" kit that is out now and featured by our host would be a great choice
