Also 1933 hood uses lourves that have a definate "curl" when viewed from the side, 1934 hood lourves are angled like 1933 but are "straight". *NM*

Hard to see on models but 1933 use a grille that is concave when viewed from the side profile,1934 grille is a straight angled line in side profile, also 1933 use 2 handles on each hood side, lots of other differences but not easily seen nor shown on 1/24-1/25 models. *NM*

What are the differences between the '33 and '34 Fords? In looking at Cliff Read's post below of both kinds the only differences I see offhand are that some have one horizontal bar in the grill and some have two and there may be a difference in the headlights. The top part *PIC*
If you look at the hood side louvers on the two red ones, there are less louvers than on the sedan and SD. This is one of the differences. *NM*

In addition, the grille surround is thinner on the 33 Fords.
The skirtless fenders did appear on some early '33s...
Here's a pic of a coupe that showed up on the hamb.... I thought they were all just tudors too, but apparently other bodies in the first few hundred '33s produced had the early fenders *NM* *PIC*
And the roadster, restored by Paul Gommi, that won him a Dearborn award... *PIC*
Re: Fortunately for hot rod builders in the day, the relative interchangability of '33/'34s allowed for a simplifying of body part scrounging. The '34 three-window coupes had a small web of sheetmetal at the rear of the side windows...
That web of sheet metal had to do with the way the window came down in the door... *PIC*
