It should work, keep in mind the Bonnie kit has a tripower setup which was not available from Pontiac after 1966. Look for the AMT/MPC 69 Firebird which will have a single 4 bbl intake if you want a factory correct engine.

Other options would be a 67 or 70, or 72 GTO or a Revell 68 Firebird.
