It's a little dirty, but I want to preserve the decals. The paint scheme is one of the highlights of this car for me, and the decals were great for the time, except that they didn't include decals to continue the paint scheme on the roof and trunk lid, so I had to paint them myself (by brush, but masked off with tape, as I would have done it back in the day). The body is unpainted white plastic, because heck... the car is white so why paint it? My only other complaint was that the decals couldn't replicate the foil numbers - luckily, if it ever gets reissued (hint, hint) the technology exists today to print decals in foil.

        Sorry, I made a mistake. I just double checked my reissue GTO Super Stocker kit and it actually has dirt tires with what looks like the same tread pattern as the originals, but the new ones have Good Year tampo printed in white on the sidewalls.
