Pontiac Swiss Cheese video. *NM* *LINK*
Used to bench race with Bill Blair and the late and great Lloyd Fishel sitting on a stool at Clemmons Speed Shop! Educational and fun times for young gearhead like me! LOL! *NM*
Interesting, but the Mac's Motor City Garage story is one that I would recommend as a Pontiac freek
Before the "swiss cheese" frame, Pontiac attempted an aluminum one. One survives (though not used long); it was covered in one of the Pontiac magazines *NM*
Often wondered how those frames held up to the daily grind of drag racing. *NM*
I'd bet most restored cars have different frames, altered from stock by duplicating the holes. Nobody involved with those cars thought anyone would care about them longer than a year or two *NM*
Whowever did this probably should have consulted with a structural engineer! *LINK*

The Galaxie is a hard one to fake - but I'm sure there have been some 'miraculous restorations'
