I like to make a long weekend out of a trip, so this year we are looking at stopping at the Smithsonian for a few days on the way to NJ...
In Response To: Maybe it sounds strange but I can't see spending that much money to go to a model event. The longest drive I've taken is to NNL North in Minneapolis and that was five hours. I just can't see paying for plane tickets and hotel for a model show. Priorities I guess. :D *NM* ()

Since I have no children of my own, I am not worried about spending their inheritance :) As well, Julie enjoys the drive to and from an event. We are also planning to go to the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Festival next Labour Day weekend, another event I have wanted to go to for many years and this will be my first.
