I noticed in the Detroit coverage that some of the models have working lights. They look really cool when on display. If Round2 were to offer a light up kit for model cars, would any of you buy them? *NM*

To do this, a model would need a battery box, battery, switch, wiring, and the lights. You say led lights come in small sizes. What size should I look for headlights and taillights? *NM*
I would make the battery (power source) external. That's a lot less work.
I am reminded of the 64 era headlights for AMT Galaxies and Impalss
We flirted with it as an aftermarket product - but a lot of the project is out of our wheelhouse. Would be fun to experiment, tho, I remember doing an Impala kit with my dad, and being fascinated that it worked all lit up
If they offered it in a separate parts pack, I’d buy one. Round2 could offer that feature in a special release ‘64 Impala kit at a slightly higher price point. Heck, combine it with a Coca Cola release to save money. *NM*
That would be (about) the only kit they haven't offered in the Coke livery. : ) *NM*
I've seen lights added to models, and it's tough to get the look right. Brightness, color temperature, etc. can be tricky to look "scale". *NM*
I was building an old camaro body - aptly named EL Diablo ..... LOL *PIC*
