There was a 72 AMT made based off the backdated 70. The MPC was much better and the original AMT was better then the new issue. *NM*

I’d like to see the MPC ‘72 Chevelle reissued again. They backdated the AMT to a ‘70, but whatever happened to the MPC ‘72? *NM*

It's baaaaaaaaaackkkk.... That weekly fever dream, known as Friday Evening Randomness..... ENJOY!!!! *PICS*
Thanks for posting Marty. Is the owner of the black w/ red flame Javelin the same as the owner of the red w/ black Javelin that crashed awhile back? Is this his new car? Also, that 1969 Galaxie GT is awesome !! *NM*
Not just the same owner.... Most of it is still the same car. *NM*
Superb!!! *NM*
Javelin & Rebel!!! thx *NM*
Nice Marty....what's the chances of that Red Alert being re-released?? Just like that one?? *NM*
The only red alert kit I know of was a 72 chevelle.

The front grill/headlight area was much better on the backdated AMT ‘70 Chevelle compared to the original 1970 annual/promo. The cowl induction hood/fenders were better on the MPC ‘71-‘72 Chevelle. MPC never made a ‘70 IIRC. *NM*
MPC never made a stock '70. Some of the Hurtubise NASCAR kits came through with 1970 bodies and bumpers, as did all of the Super Stocker dirt track kits *NM*
Thanks Mark! Were the bodies actually different though? The ‘70 Super Stocker issued in ‘74(?) was based on the ‘71-‘72 with different bumpers, no? Maybe the front marker lights were filled in and then rescribed for the SS Slasher release in ‘80? *NM*
I have the Super Stocker kit, body and rear bumper are '70 (altered from the Hurtubise car...)
So.... Best '70? Best '71-2?
Well, here’s my viewpoint on it……
MPC '72 was never reissued after the mid-Eighties version (red car on the box) *NM*
Thanks Mark! What was the AMT/ERTL version in the early 2000’s? Was it the AMT ‘70 changed into a ‘72 again? The box art showed the MPC ‘72, but that’s not what actually came in the box. *NM* *PIC*
AMT, changed back to '72 with (then) new bumpers front and rear, that are not very well done *NM*
I don't think I've ever seen a '55 Plymouth "gasser" before. Cool! *NM*
marty, good to see you're back, especially like the silver Oz Valiant Charger boilin' the hides. *NM*
