• Can someone help me understand something about ebay?
  • I've run across this before. They REALLY only want the stated price. I don't know if they don't know what they're doing when they fillout the auction form, or think it will draw more interest, or are just (pick your word). *NM*
  • Their preference is the Buy it Now Price. If it nears the the end of the auction before selling they may then take a Make Offer. Never try to analyze an Ebay seller's motives. You're wasting your time. If you bid in $1.00 increments you're also wasting YOUR TIME! *NM*
  • Been a while since I listed anything on eBay but if I recall the “make offer” was a default setting you have to turn off or uncheck and can sometimes be missed when you make the listing *NM*

  • Make a offer is automatically put into a listing unless seller removes it.....some people do not know how to delete it from listings. *NM*
  • I have won a couple of things on make an offer bids. The thing is that my offer was not accepted until after the listing had expired and (evidently) no one else had shown an interest *NM*
  • I find ebay confusing. I sell on there and the way they've changed it its really confusing. *NM*
